Setting Up Surreal64

Hi, im very new to emulators. I got Surreal64 and am clueluss on how to setup. I unRAR'd the ZIP of Surreal to give me a few files. I connect to my xbox but where do i put the Surreal64 files. Do i make a folder inside my apps folder called Surreal64, and put the surreal files inside of that along with the roms? Please help me out!

You can put it under it's own directory under games or apps if you wish. SO, for example, under apps, it'd be /e/apps/surreal64/ and then everything would go there. Put the roms in the roms folder(you can put it anywhere but it is setup by default to look for them under the roms folder in the surrealy root folder).

Then your dashboard should autodetect it and you can run it.

I can launch The Surreal 64, except when i launch it, it goes right back to the evox dashboard.

huh? Surreal xxx is a different emulator than surreal64. Try opening surreal64 under a different dashboard.

It doesn't really matter what folder it goes into. As long as the dashboard detects it.

So, /e/apps/surreal/ should be fine to put all the surreal files AND folders into.

I changed from evox to avalaunch and theres the main avalaunch screen, i go into emulators, and there should be Surreal64 but there isnt.

I switched to Daeldelus X and got the emu to lauch. I FTPd some roms but im not able to launch them. They dont appear in the emu. What am i doing wrong?

remove emulator save and reboot and try again.
