XVBoy v0.3
Posted by XanTium | August 4 20:45 EST

Alg5 released a new version of XVBoy(info), a Nintendo Virtual Boy emulator port to Xbox.
What's new/fixed:
* Lots of optimisations: compilation in release mode, palette
texture...
* With this version, some games are playable without slowdown!
* SRAM save support for the games supporting it.
* Stretching is implemented.

you can.
anyway, virtual boy seems not very popular, that's why i feel like i work enough on it  tongue.gif

if some of you want to test: after loading lots of game and let them play the demo, i face some locks up (heap memory). it seems there is a memory leak somewhere.... i corected some but their should remains others...
i face it loading zippped roms, perhaps non zipped roms works better...

You're right, Virtual Boy isn't very popular, but I implore you to continue work on it.  I, for one, am looking forward to the advancement of this emulator.  Good work, sir.  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

in this version stretch is implemented? im assuming you dont mean screen resizing... the image is overscanned too much on the right side of the screen for me..

personally I loved the VB... your emu is very appreciated here.. now to get some 3d glasses

if could get my hands on Space Invaders Virtual Collection and SD Gundam Dimension War my collection would be complete

hey does this have support for conventional 3d glasses?

(IMG:http://www.telescopes4kids.com/images/3d-glasses.jpg)

i once play a vb emu that had support for this
if not it would be very cool.
