Strange. I didn't get your email. Thanks for the offer. What I really need is more people who were getting the garbled graphics to test my latest code. I've only had one taker and he said 720p now works fine.

Just because they are games you enjoyed as a kid doesn't mean zelda & metroid, or there respective skins, are "kiddy" in any way.

They represent the best the SNES has to offer, and the skins fit that glove perfectly.

Well first I want to make it clear that my post is about what I personally would enjoy seeing in a neverwill skin. You'll notice though that I gave him compliments where compliments are due and I didn't downplay the excellent skill of his artwork just because he didn't choose my favorite theme.

Kiddy games doesn't mean "you enjoyed them as a kid" or "they're low quality" or "adults don't play them"
It just means they're kid-friendly and everyone's seen them a million times, and I'd like to see something more obscure and dark from this artist. Child-safe mascot games lack mature themes and have characters designed to be cutesy or soft-edged and kid friendly. Zelda, Metroid and Mario are the best examples of this. Are they also some of the highest quality games on SNES? Yes, you betcha. They're Nintendo's child-safe mainstream money-makers, so they'll always have money behind them and be excellent quality. (I don't happen to like them much though) It's not meant as a derogatory term at all. I'd like to see this artist use his sharp-edged talent on something more like Castlevania or Ninja Gaiden. (Or something even more obscure and dark if possible.) Something more exciting and out of the mainstream. Something that fits the glove a little less perfectly.

Is the artwork magnificent? You bet. Is the emu hot? Definitely. Do I want a snack right now and is my stomach rumbling and am I playing Theif: Deadly Shadows. Yes yes yes, take care.  ph34r.gif

Look. Can you stop bickering over what I'd personally enjoy? It's not a debate.

TO ME, hopping around as a little pod and freezing little fuzzy aliens and using them as platforms and using little pea-sized bombs to help you jump and collect powerups from little yoda statues is a little more soft-edged than games I like. I said I would personally enjoy something less kid-safe from a more obscure game. If you have to keep bickering terms over my preference I'm going to ignore it. If you want to change topics, cool.

Going back to ZsneXbox,

I'm surprised how good the performance is on this build
I love options and there are a ton of them here, and the layout is great
The speed of games like chrono trigger feels much better with expensive filters
My xbox is one of those old double cache, double ram DreamX bravo systems
And even the most demanding filters seem to run pretty much full speed on it
Neverwill's skin looks created by professional game artists
(I'm not a zelda fan but I can appreciate really well done art)
Couldn't ask for a more perfectionist SNES emu
The hard work that went into this emu really shows through

Much thanks, Guys

First time you run the emulator, it creates a folder on E:/ZsnexBox. Check in there, as there should be a folder named "prev"....& there you go! They must go there....

Should say that if you have previews, thats where they go. If not, go to xbox.nugnugnug.com & d/l some preview packs for snes system.

When you're playing a game click down the right thumbstick and the options menu will come up. Here there is an option to take a screen shot that will be used as a preview (and you don't need to create the folder, zsnexbox will do it automatically).

But if box art is your thing then you'll have to do as the poser above me said.

Has the displaying of the X and Y values during screen resize been implemented yet? If not, are there plans to do it?

No offense, but why not just try the emulator and see?

Have you checked the name of the savestate to make sure it matches the game name? Are you talking about savestates or sram? Both of these work fine for me (sram and savestates). Are you trying to load a savestate/sram generated in version 1.0-1.2 in the latest version? If so, savestates likely won't work.
