This emulator  it is a crap and bugged mad.gif .. test for example the earthworjim 2 ( freeze on many levels of the game) and others many  games also not work bug in the levels etc bug glitches freeze pffff same for starfox the speed is better on Xsnes9x.. correct your work nes6502 because he is not convincing lantus make better than you with Xsnes9x

Who is this spaz? Getting angry because ewj2 doesn't work for him? Is he serious? You gotta be jokin me, spewing shit at nes over his own problems? This is as bad as dydy67. Also, if you can't use english don't try to insult a native speaker's work in it. Also nes is not competing with lantus, but many people prefer zsnes for its higher qualities and features, including me. If you like xsnes9x because it can run 4 specific games that zsnes can't, that's YOUR issue, and it's senseless. Also, who told you "assume that you can only use zsnes now, assume nes owes you to make it run every game perfect, and get AAAAANGRY IF NOT"? There's SO many things wrong with your logic it's not even funny. I'm also pretty sure you're wrong about starfox and ewj2 and you probably have a screwed up xbox, but even if you're right it doesn't matter if it won't run 30 games out of 700 perfectly. It runs almost everything perfect and that's more than anyone rational can even ask for. Take your trash talk and flush it.

I'm not trying to convince, impress, satisfy you or anyone else. I don't care if anyone likes ZsnexBox. I wrote it for me and only me. I "choose" to share it with the world. If the world hates it, then that's their problem and I could care less. Because I like it.

Well the world LOVES it, and we thank you very much for sharing this high-quality port with us out of generosity. It keeps getting better and it's already unbelievably good, and running 99% of games that well is extremely close to perfect, and any reasonable person would agree.

If you like your emulator then it is very well but me i do not like this emu it is buged and unstable.I just said what i think without offence

And your judgement is ignorant and insulting upon an emulator that deserves much better. You seem like that ridiculous nut dydy67 in disguise and if you are you should admit it. You basically spazzed out and called this exceptionally well-made emu low-quality because the timing is imperfect in like 8 games out of 1000. You actually said you were ANGRY because of this, jeez. Ridiculous. A lot of work and well thought out features went into this for us and it does not need your crap little judgements thanks. Take your spaz elsewhere.

Getting back on topic, I'd like to say that the speed seems even better on this version, and starfox runs wonderfully. Keep up the good work, nes. I do have a tiny Suggestion. Exact value search is off so far to the right that all 3 digits are cut off my screen and I have to count in my head. It's not that hard to do, and the cheat searching itself works great (we're lucky to even have it). However, would it be possible to move the digits to the center of the screen?

Well that's weird. It's in the center for me.  unsure.gif

I have no problem with critisism. I want to make ZsnexBox better and if people don't point out the flaws, then I can't do that. However, your point is sweeping and not based on fact (and it was insulting).

"Stability" in an application refers to whether an application crashes (locks up your Xbox). ZsnexBox does not crash, however some games do not work.

As far as compatability, keep in mind that out of 5000+ SNES roms, I would be surprised if more then 20 had issues. And most of these are very minor and only affects 2% of the game. I'm only aware of 2 games that don't play at all (TG3K and Kirby's Avalanch). However, multi-core will solve this and I will be adding this towards the end of ZsnexBox development. xSnes9x has problems with EWJ2 as well.

It amazes me that some people completely disregard all the benefits of ZsnexBox (full speed emulation, better sound, more options, etc...) and say it's total crap because one or two games have a trivial graphics glitch on the title screen or something similar.

Strange. It's perfectly centered on my screen (4:3 at 480i). Are you using 720p or 1080i? It should be centered as well for those.

That is wierd
Maybe it's something on my side..
My settings are:
Resolution: 720p
Font Size: 30

X: -0.500000                      WIDTH:1280.500000
Y: -0.680000                      HEIGHT:720.680000

Games themself are ultra crisp and proportioned exactly right
Not being able to see the numbers isn't a giant issue
I can see the very left of the first 0
Which allows me to locate the pointer and count the keystrokes
It's just a small suggestion since nes likes improving this to perfection

I see that there is an option to change the partition of the Zsnexbox data files in this release but could an option be added to move these files anywhere.  The only options are E:\Zsnexbox or F:\Zsnexbox.  I would like to be able to move these files to the folder where the default.xbe is stored.  Thanks

You were making another name to make it look like someone else was backing up your flawed complaints. Oh, that's so scummy, hahah. Get out of here.

Can someone else with 720p test this?

nes6502, any chance of ISO9660 support? Only reason why I still carry xSnes9x around. Great release BTW!  smile.gif

I've got the same settings and am also seeing the same thing as Hopeful. You can only see the first digit and not the other two. I tried changing the width but no difference.

Thanks for the great emu.

I just figured out the problem. Is it happening anywhere else (text is off the screen)?

I think the point of command line launching is so that you could set up shortcuts for each and every rom off a dashboard. Something that's positively insane if that's the actual goal.
