Found some generic cheats for Super Mario World.

Have Yoshi = 000DBA??
Replace ?? with the values below for the desired effect:
0A - Green Yoshi
08 - Red Yoshi
06 - Blue Yoshi (My Personal Fav and I one I'd recommend to always use)
04 - Yellow Yoshi

Status Mod (Powerups) = 000019??
Replace ?? with the values below for the desired effect:
00 - Normal
01 - Big
02 - Cape
03 - Firepower

Have Star Power - 001490FF

If you guys need any cheats for any rom, let me know.  biggrin.gif

Here is a cheat code question.

I figured out how to change the HP to 255 in Super mario RPG but it only changes the first part. i.e.

when a new game is started the hp is:

20/20

I changed it to 255/20

but how can I change it  to

255/255 or even higher?

Well I'd need to test the game before I can answer your question fully. seeing as i've already completed it, I can just load my save @ the end of the game to figure it out for you. It could be one of those weird games where the values only corresponds with a value, i.e 1-9, and don't use letters for values, so 255 would = 0255.
To get it higher, you'd need to add another code similar to that one, like
000DBA03
000DBBE7

Note the last two values for both codes will be used in conjunction with one another, so it'd read as 03E7, which is in turn 999.

But let me go and test the game before I can make my final analysis.

Edit
Super Mario RPG
Inf HP Mario
00FA91E7
00FA9203

Max HP Mario
00FA93E7
00FA9403

As you can see, using two codes for one will make it function as a 16-bit code.
Seems I was quick enough to search, and edit my post  jester.gif

rockmans series work on this emulator?

There's 2 Rockman series for super, original and X.

I haven't played any of "Rockman" roms but I have played the U.S. roms (Mega Man) for the X series,

X1 and 2 both work, 3 works with some graphic problems. AND BEFORE YOU EVEN THINK OF SAYING WHAT YOU'RE THINKING, I'll inform you X2 has graphical problems on XSNES9X that DO NOT exist on Zsnexbox. So don't say it.

As for the original series, 7, soccer and and forte. I have no idea.

Now little mac can win simply by scary facial expressions
Adds a whole other dimension doesn't it?
You can create some really off the wall crap with a bit of creative thinking.
Thanks once again for this really fun and much needed feature!

Yes it does. I can remember back in the day when I had my SNES game genie. I used to spend forever trying to create codes for Street Fighter 2. I remeber making a code for Blanka so that when he did the roll attack across the screen, he would hit the other character but then roll over him and end up behind him. I wish I could remember what that code was now but 15 years  (or 1 week in college) can make many things permanently erased from your mind.

Wierd that I never forgot the tyson code (007-373-5963) for the last 15 years though.

lol, I still remember that password also. I found some codes on xport's emulator a long time ago, where the coutdown timer would count to 10 before an opponent could get up, infinite stars, inf hearts, plus some other nifty lil' cheats as well.  biggrin.gif

This will soon be my new snes emulator.  I'm just waiting on a few features to come out like a favorites list and button combos for the save states.  It would be nice if you could make the rom names scroll in the menu.  Also, the xport cheat function is a little easier to use although they are both very similar, but i like on xport how you can get the list down to 10 or less you can add them all the the cheat list, then go to the list and edit the code from there.  Anyways, good work, and thanks for keeping it updated on a regular basis.

What is or was wrong with starfox speed?

When I play Starfox with  Zsnexbox v1.9, I notice it's playable but
seems a tad slow. When I play the same rom on Xsnes9x (latest version)
I notice the game running quicker.

I'm thinking xsnes9x actually runs the game faster than it should. Maybe not. The 2-28 core is supposedily to be the correct speed but to my knowledge no one has tested it against an actual cart.

It plays twice as fast as it should in xSnes9x. Iy may not be "perfect" in ZsnexBox but it's certainly within 99% perfect speed the actual cart has.

I've found Interpolation with a flicker filter of 1 looks most like an SNES with out ANY flicker at all, and not too blurry. Is there any way to have Interpolation and Hi Res mode 7 at the same time?

I don't think so. ZSNES internally disables high res mode 7 if any of the 2xsai, hq2x, or interpolation are turned on. Maybe I could find this and comment it out but I don't know the reason it's done.

I've noticed that If I disable the ingame audio adjustments then reboot they become enabled again. Could you fix this

Yes. It will be fixed in 2.1

Nope. Go play the real thing.

I didn't write the emulator. The ZSNEs team did. Go complain to them and tell them how crappy you think it is. I'm sure you'll get a very warm welcome.

I'm not trying to convince, impress, satisfy you or anyone else. I don't care if anyone likes ZsnexBox. I wrote it for me and only me. I "choose" to share it with the world. If the world hates it, then that's their problem and I could care less. Because I like it.
