Anyone that can help, I'd sure appreciate it.  I picked up Dracula X (Japanese) for the PC Engine off of E-bay a while back and wish to play it on my xbox.  I've tried using Hugo and menafenx_pce_v2(newest).  When I try to launch the game from the CD (with or without the included cue file), it goes to the cd player menu and I cannot play the game.  I also cannot seem to rip it to an iso that works either.  I've tried cddissect (using -alt since I don't have aspi) and I get a load error from that.  I can load up the cd just fine with magin engine on the pc, but I wish to play on my big screen thru the stereo and I'm sure all can understand.  Am I doing something wrong?, do I have a really well done knock-off CD?  Any ideas?!?

Do you have Nero?  If so, try going to the "Extras" menu (assuming you have Nero 6 or later) at the top and select the "Save Tracks" options.  Then rip each music track as MP3s and the data tracks as ISOs.  This should work as a CUE (just make sure your file names match those listed in the CUE):

And definitely use MednafenX PCE v2... it is worlds better than HuGo, especially when it comes to CD games.

Thanks I'll give it a try.  I had mine ripped similar to this with cddissect, but it wouldn't run.  But I do have nero so I'll give that a whirl.  Thanx much!!!

I totally agree that MednafenX PCE v2 is much better than Hugo. What I also like for CD games is that the programmer included a shitload of working CUE files that can be accessed under the Perfect CUE launch option.
