I dunno if anyone else mentioned this, and I really don't want to read 8 pages of posts, but I noticed some sound issues in Mario All-Stars, particularly with fast-moving sounds like when mario grows from a mushroom or when he throws a fireball... the sound seems to not play all of the fast little sounds that make up the full sound effect... I compared to xsnes9x and it had the sound spot on.  I never noticed this on zsnes on the PC, so I'm wondering if there might be a timing issue with the sound on this port.

I'd suggest scanning the rom with NSRT and posting the info when reporting any game-specific problems.

It's a core issue.

Hey Terror2k6, there's a thread now just for Zsnexbox Skins here if you could post your work there to help get it off the ground. I already posted 2 of them. Here

I support that request, because my left analog stick often goes nuts in ZsnesX (= my character/vehicle keeps running into one direction even though I am not touching any controls, it also happens a lot in the ROM Browser !) !
Funny thing is that it almost never happens when I start a new game, it usually happens when I load a save state or an internal srm save !

There is now a deadzone adjustment setting. i didn't need it myself, but IIRC, nes6502 said to up it from .20 or so to .55 and it fixed it (for him)

Any way to configure this to have the screenshots back on the F partition? Alot of people fill up the E drive with saves and music, it really seems like a waste to store previews there.

would you happen to have a Logitec wireless controller, if so try this to recalibrate it. It worked for me!

Thanks

QUOTE

Just got off the phone with Logitech Customer Support.

They gave me instructions on how to recalibrate the controller, seems to be working so far.

Step 1: Power up the Xbox with the controller connected.

Step 2: Remove one of the batteries from the controller.

Step 3: Hold the start button and the left trigger.

Step 4: Re-insert the battery, while still holding those buttons.

The Support Tech said this recalibrates the controller, and most of the analog stick problems will be solved.

It's the only partition that "everybody" is guarunteed to have. Some people don't have an F or G partition.
