For me it's the latest XSNES9X.

ZSNEXBOX does have more features and better sound but it also has alot of bugs and glitches in several games that XSNES9X does not so I'm sticking with the more solid option for now.

Will be interesting to see what the future brings though as both emulators are still very much in active development.

at this time XSNES9X its better because not bug or glitch..But i am sure that ZNESBOX can become better if defects ( bug and glitch on many games ) are corrected (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)....also i wait the new version of ZNESBOX

keep up the good work nes6502 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I haven't tried zsnesbox yet, but XSnes9x is a pretty good emulator
Loads games and exit games very very fast, full speed with really good sound, with no bugs, and an ips patcher
the only thing i hate about Xsnes9x is that you can enable analog and D-pad at the same time, u'd have to keep switching if u want to use one or the other

XSNES9X as it is easy to use, some games may work better on the other emu, but the ones i play work fine on XSNES9X.

Id say they are about even now, Zsnes has better compatibility and speed with software filters whereas xsnes has a better gui. However at the awesome rate he is updating it it looks like nes's version is going to be completely superior pretty soon.

To Be Honest, I was only using zsnexbox till a few weeks ago. Till the right-thumb stick would just throttle down and have the sound dropping every now and then. Tis is a pain, which Is why I reverted back to snes9x. There should be a way for us to turn off adjust volume, now that'd rock.

i feel you

i was real excited with zsnesxbox 1.4 cuz it had 60fps and a lot of cool stuff, but there are way too many bugs i cant even burn it to a cdrw and have it work properly, it would shut down every other game i play.

so far xsnes9x 1.42 takes this.

i had this happened too but i realized that its the old huge xbox controller, with type-s it never happens. reason is the thumbstick on the old controller dont come back to its original place when you accidently tap em. so when you accidently tape it downwards it stays there till you switch its position, thus the volume lowers until 0 which is extremly annoying everytime you play. controller type-s thumbsticks are stable and if you tap it it will automatically adjust itself back to its nuetral position. also its the position of the buttons, old controller is more prone to you accidently hitting the thumbsticks vs. the new one...
