Surreal64 Xxx

Ok I got surreal 64 XXX to work on my xbox but i cant get it to read the roms. I opened the surreal.ini file and changed the rom location to the folder that says rom in the surreal64 folder. I saved all changes and ftped. Then I fted zelda.z64 and the surreal.ini file into the rom folder. (I put the surreal.ini file in both the surreal64 and rom folders) When I load it, it says No Roms Found. Please edit surreal.ini and refresh by pressing Y.

Any one have ideas what i did wrong

try changing the rom directory back to d:\roms.  You only need the ini in the main dirrectory.

my surreal.ini rom path is set for /F/Apps/Surreal64xxx_b4.95/Roms/
under that folder i put my surreal.ini file and my zelda rom

Isn't the surreal.ini supposed to be put where the default.xbe is?

open your ini. Edit your rom path line make it look like this

Rom Path=D:\Roms\

Again you dont need to place your ini inside your rom folder, only the main directory. If that does not work then, did you edited your tdata ini?

jtimp for the command lines to show the directorys with xbox you use backward slashes and not forward slashes as you would do on your pc so either try what foxx said or edit the surreal ini to

F:\Apps\Surreal64xxx_b4.95\Roms\

you also missed out the : after the drive letter

so the top 4 lines should read as

[Settings]
Rom Path=F:\Apps\Surreal64xxx_b4.95\Roms\
Media Path=F:\Apps\Surreal64xxx_b4.95\Media\
Default Controller
