Mameox Roms

I've downloaded a few mame roms but none of them play in mameox. Mameox can recognize them but won;t play them. I tried to download the most popular roms in various web-sites but no luck. I have them as a zip file now cause it's the only way i can get mameox to recognize them. Is there certain roms that play with mameox ? and if so how do i know which work ?

Try opening the zip file, if the zip file fails to open then its corrupted. Also you might need the bios called "Neo Geo" which some games require to run. I can't tell you where to get the Neo Geo bios from.

Go to LogiqX & get either the romconter or clrmamepro dat for mame .84 as this is what the xbox mame ports are based on, obviously you'll want romcenter or clrmamepro depending on which dat you get, then use one of those programs to check your roms & if needed fix them if you have the bits needed to fix them in other dir's on your PC.  OF course if you use Mameox 128 Plus! then it has clrmamepro & romcenter .dats with it so use them to check your roms.
