lol... I renamed the new plugin to RiceDaedalus5.1.0.ini and replaced the one in the original Surreal64 folder, changed the PJ64 settings of SSB to the ones in the compatablity list (Vid Mem: 8, Dyna: 18, Paging: 2) and SSB seems to run pretty good, there's only slowdown for about the first 10 secs of the match.

Just trying to help you guys out (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

EDIT: It turns out the game does freeze every once and a while after I did this.

The KI fixes are just amazing! but the surreal ones, what games exactly do they fix? I havent used that thing in a while, trying to figure out if this is motivation enough.

Do team xxx read this forum? I was wanting to request 720p and 1080i support for Surreal, this would be great!

SSB plays better with PJ64 IMO. Although it played nearly perfect on regular Surreal 64 using PJ64.

You saying it was better on Surreal 1.0 rather than Surreal XXX?

By the way, I like your avatar smile.gif

Anyway, I'm glad to see an update for SurrealXXX

Yep in fact it runs crappier on the XXX version! I tested using my xbox. Easy to tell a difference. All we need now is for Re-volt, fighting force 64 and Excitebike 64 to work. I'm not even gonna think about Perfect Dark... for now!

Ever since I upgraded to any of the newer betas of Surreal64-XXX I receive ungodly slow dows in Mario Kart 64.

I ended up having to down grade to Beta 3 which works perfectly, any idea on why slow downs would happen with the newest versions??

I got the KIxxx_b0.9 installed. My ki files are kinst.chd  and  kinst2.chd. There from a mame dvd collection. Place them in  the Ki1 and Ki2 folders under KIxxx_b0.9? When I try lauching ki1 or 2 it just freezes?  Could  anybody offer some help?

Yes, I read the forum :
for KIxxx : I heard the fatality bug was more caused by the romset than the emu, I can t tell.
for surreal : for the HDTV mode :
1) it would take more resource
2) I don't have a HDTV
As for the compatibility list, I didn't include a 6.1.1 ini because I don't use this plugin on PC, if someone has something to try, why not smile.gif .
Plz give me only your impressions on this plugins compared to the others (5.10,5.31,5.60), I hope it will be the best of all to remove this crappy selection and begin to concentrate on only one plugin (cleaning up the sources for the xbox...).
I ve read there is a better compatibility on surreal 1.0 and that this version is based on the bugged CVS one, I don't really know since it is freakdave who took it from there, I ll maybe try a version whith the core of surreal 1.0 and rice 6.1.1 .
