Ff Vii Menu Freeze

yes i have tried searching....but google tells me it looks like a "virus search or something" honest, i have screenshots...but anyway, when i try to go to the menu in FF 7, PCSXBOX v13 or 11 will freeze up...was working fine at first...any fixes?
