Final Fantasy 8 Problem Pcsxbox

Hi, hope some1 can help.
I created a backup of final fantasy 8 to play on my xbox.
i patched the bin using one of the patchers from megagames.
Im using pcsxbox to play the game.
It works fine except i canted see the menus when im in a fight
Can anyone help?
