Game Genie

Hey does anyone know how to run the game genie for nes and sega? I figured out the super one, I think....
When you are playing a rom, hit right trigger and right analog and that menu comes up then go to cheat codes trigger to game genie and enter the codes... Anyone no how to do this on nes or sega?

how far have you gotten in getting the codes?-----Game Genie Codes

 I had problems running codes with NES, until I added a SAVES folder to the main emulator forum.

Sorry if this is not what you meant... but... if your trying to add an actual game genie code to one of the nes/sega emulators what you have to do is(from memory).... goto cheat codes goto list codes(you have to have at least one code in there even if its a BS one) and then hit edit code.  One of the options will be enter game genie code.  And then it will prompt you to restart your game.  I hope this is what you needed.....
