Goldeneye And Zelda Issues On Surreal64

Ok, in Surreal 64, I have the options of booting up my roms with 1964, Project64, or HLE64.

Some issues I've been having with Goldeneye is freezing up during gameplay, 'messed' up character faces in menu, cursor automatically going upwards, and some text/images missing.

Some issues I've been having with Zelda is Japanese text only when creating my character name. (Not much of a problem, but certainly odd), and missing text/images.

Please let me know if this is normal glitch or if it is a bug in my ROM/emulator/emu-version/etc. Thank-you!

Also, what emulator is reccomended for me to boot my games up with? Thanks.
