It was only partially believable to me because of the names of the people saying it was true.  I would have pissed on this the second I heard it but programmers and moderators were backing it.  I think this is the reason why people ask the question in the first place.  You thought it would be funny to see how many people would believe you and you only made the problem worse because some people won't read through all of the pages in this thread.  I'm actually ashamed of the mods that were a part of this, I thought they were suppossed to "moderate" not join in and make the problems worse.  I would hit the report button, but it will be sent to a so-called "moderator" who most likely will read the thread, have a laugh, and not "moderate."  It was pretty stupid for you smart guys to get into this.  I didn't find it funny and it's pretty stupid just to see if people would fall for it.

P.S. - I did read the pinned topics and that's why I thought this was impossible, but the names backing it up made it sound reasonable.

What I would like to see though is The Hi-res texture option from Rice Plugin ported over..... Imagine 512x512 textures on everything in Zelda 64, or other fun games!!! (yes I saw the Zelda Halo CE in one of you guys's Sigs)

Actually, i believe the rice plug-in that the developers had been waiting for (and i could be wrong) was released about a month after the hype of surreal v.2 had begun...what a fucking bitch move...they even had screenshots...
Yeah, surrealxxx is awesome but v. 2 was supposed to be something above and beyond (aka, more than just the added ability to play Conker's Bad Fur Day). I wouldnt be surprised if someone out there (developers, im coughing in your direction) actually has a nearly completed beta of v. 2 out there but arent giving it out for personal reasons.

Just a couple of questions on this subject.

Everyone is convinced that this is impossible.  Why?  If the systems have the same capability, why wouldn't we be able to emulate games?

Maybe software alone isn't the answer.  That is also something I have questioned.  Couldn't you flash a seperate chip with the GC bios perhaps and along with some software, be able to run GC games?

I am a noob, but when someone says impossible, I think that sounds like a good challenge.

Well, I would like it so I could have all my games run from one source.  I collect games, and a good portioin of my basement is filled with every system you can think of, and a TON of games.  Being able to play all of them off the Xbox with emulators is great.  Now if I could only condense the GC, PS2, and Xbox together into one case, it would free up a ton of space in my entertainment center, and eliminate a lot of wires.

Looks Like I will go back to my original idea, making a custom case for all three, and using that.

Thanks
