OMG LOCKON TECHNOLOGY!!!! THIS WAS GONNA CHANGE THE FUTURE!!!
... okay it was a cool thing though, remember trying to put it on other sonic games
like spinball to see what would happen?

sweet music and a good solid story, that and you fight an ultimate warrior rippoff at the beach!

Streets of Rage II
music stayed pretty good, the story was actually the same as sor1 but adam got kidnapped,
ever tried finishing this on the secret difficulty level "MANIA" ? i have.

Streets of Rage 3
yeah dont play this one, sega of america censored it to death.. play the japanese
version instead, its called "Bare Knuckle III"

Bare Knuckle 3
sprites kinda changed for the ugly, music got too techo..
but there were some great levels in this one, not too mention a surprising ending!

Ecco The Dolphin
you're a dolphin trying to find his stolen friends, sweet music and a sweet sweet game!

meh.. better sprites but i always felt the first one was more.. i dont know it touched
me more then this one did, still a great game though! worth playing after you finish #1

NBA JAM
Just a good solid conversion of the arcade game.

NBA JAM TE
pretty much nba jam plus some extra's play this instead of regular nba jam.

Jurassic Park
Man i saved up all my allowance for this game, sweet levels and a really great JP feeling,
end boss is a bitch to figure out though..

Jurassic Park - The Rampage Edition
ehm.. cool but its more action based then the first one.. same sprites though so its pretty much a cool sequel.

Mortal Kombat
Grainy as fuck and hardly any voices, but it has blood..
play the arcade version instead.

Mortal Kombat II
its the same mbit size as the snes version, but its soooo ugly!!
so what did they use all that mbit space for? i swear this is secretly an 8mbit cart.

Mortal Kombat 3
aah the grainy as fuck and hardly any voices conversion returns!

Super Street Fighter 2
good conversion, sprites seem kinda tiny after playing the arcade version for so long..

ToeJam & Earl
funny game, cool sprites and music, a classic.

ToeJam & Earl 2
havent played this much, its pretty much a platformer unlike its predecessor.

Virtua Racing
its like Ridge Racer 6!!!
aah ok its not.. but it had the svp chip so it ran super!!! crappy >_<
still 3d on your weak little black sega.. cool stuff.

Zero Tolerance
haha fuck that snes! you and your doom port with extra added chip! we didnt need no stinking chip!!
cool game, anoying password system and too many levels though..

Phantasy Star 2 / 3 / 4
2 and 4 are nice rpg's 3 looks kinda bad..

Shining Force
awesome rpg, sweet story too.

Shinging Force 2
i always felt this was less dark then the first one, still a great experience though.

Mega Bomberman
very good version of bomberman, and it has colored kangaroothingies to ride on!

Eternal Champions
Move over SF2, move over MK2, here is Eternal Champions!!
this one had great sprites, great arena's great story, great background fatalitys
and a super super super mean computer AI >_<

The menacer games.  6 games set that came with it.. I still own that shit and play it about 3 weeks out of a year.. I cant get enough..  The toejam and earl game is too bad ass.

 Then Midnigt run or something like that... I have the game at home some where.. excelent 2d side scroller..

Aero Flash (?)  that is a bad ass game I own also

Sonic and Kuckles cart for the mini games... HELL THE FUCK YEAH... I have to say those are my favoirte mini games of all times..  Infact you can play all of them on the sonic mega collection.

Comix Zone.. that game just plain kicks ass.. and the commercials for it were the bomb...

earthworm jim - was great on genesis and had a extra level over snes's

alladin - its by far the best version of the game as snes's was weird lookin

toejam and earl - definitely a classic

streets of rage 1-3 - really great for those that wished final fight was on genesis when snes had it

revenge of shinobi - great game when genesis came out

vectorman 1/2 - great games to play

xmen 1/2 - first one was ok but the second one was definitely nice and i find it better then snes's xmen

thats all i can think of for the time being but theres definitely more

Soleil
one of the few genesis rpg's that are actually good, in a time of chrono trigger/secret of mana/final fantasy 6
it was good for genesis owners to have an rpg that didnt look like it was made in the 80's (fairy tale adventure and rpg's like that i'm looking at you!)


Beavis & Butthead
Burp, fart, burp fart!
More an adventure game then an action game, you actually gotta collect items
to use at other places, very cool game and worth playing with a friend! for it has a 2 player mode.


Beyond Oasis / The Story of Thor
at long last the genesis got an rpg to rival Secret of Mana!
well.. kind of.. it was sweet.


Castlevania: Bloodlines / Castlevania: The New Generation
Hey its Castlevania on the Genesis!
note that the european version of the game (new generation) is censored!


Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3
Ultimate graininess now with more rainbow colored ninja's then ever!


Wonderboy 5 Monsterworld 3
A classic adventure game, might seem childish at first but its a great game so give it a try!

Wonderboy 6 Monsterworld 4
A perfect translation exists for this one and its pretty much the same kind of engine
found in wonderboy5, but its a whole different story with new places and the ending
even tells you a little bit about the ending of Wonderboy5.

I know a lot of these are rehash...but the first one is a must play.  Give it some time to learn the nuances of the control scheme.  It's a glistening example of a well designed game.

Shinobi 3-return of the ninja master. Besides ninja gaiden for xbox this has to be in my opinion one fo the best ninja games made. Sol feace(cd) but they made the same game on genesis with the name of sol-deace, which is a side scrolling shooter.
