4 Four Controllers While Playing Snes Roms

I have a modded xbox and I am able to play ROMs no problem.

The problem I have is getting all the functionality I want out of these roms particularly for Super Bomberman on the SNES. I want to play 4 way with my friends but the game only recognizes two of my four controllers.

I have searched this DVD of roms and emulators for settings but I can't find any. I might have to copy the entire disc to my harddrive and then modify some file from there.

I am asking for  help. I am open to downloading another emulator instead and just copying this ROM off of the DVD.
