I just installed the new b3 and loaded some roms on, didn't change any settings. No roms will load (super mario 64, smash bros, or excite bike) it just goes straight to a black screen and does nothing. Is there something I need to change to get it to work?

Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of time. When playing this game some scenes just dont render right at all. objects like doors and link himself look fine, but the backdrops look all currupted. you can make out slopes and walls sometimes, but not all the time when this happens. i notice this at the beginning when the fairy goes to wake up link. and another place is entering the castle, and most of the side streets. i dont think this problem is unique to this version of surreal, but if there is a resolution it would be nice to know about.

Figured I'd post something here - just got my xbox softmodded and installed a 120GB drive; I've managed to get the emulator running fine, most everything's working great. Thanks to everyone for their hard work!

I notice, however, the following line in the nfo:
- Fixed: Changing MemPak/RumblePak via submenu did not work

I've reinstalled the emulator a couple of times, but every mempak-enabled game I've tried so far either isn't detecting anything or claims the pak's corrupt. I've ensured that the controller settings are mempak enabled instead of rumblepak enabled, but I still get the errors. I'll make-do with savestates for now, but I've never been a huge fan of them, always preferring the more traditional methods of saving, and figured I should let somebody know.

Irregardless, thanks again, and keep up the good work!

you can also add a prob playing south park and others that needed basic audio =1 as i tried to leave it as that but the game never loads up properly and i did test the rom in surreal v1 in which it worked fine.

blink.gif I have the same problem too!

I tested it with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 and it always asks for the controller pak. Changed in mid-game to mempak, then changed rumblepak to mempak before starting, same message. And unlike the original Surreal64 the LThumb button doesn't change dynamically from one to the other. Very frustrating.  sad.gif
