That s why I made inis save by CRC, you can simply try and upload your inis (don t count on me, I have less roms than 90% of surreal users, you must work a little tongue.gif ).

Alright I tried conker with the new beta (and I have 128mb ram)..the ram never really went past 64mb free mostly..it stopped once it got down that far even though the game got pretty laggy..unless i forgot to turn on some settings to optimize this?

oh yeah..and buy conker: live and reloaded once it comes out  biggrin.gif

   I also have a 128MB Xbox but never fully understands if I have to fully maximize video memory, paging and dynarec or minimize these settings? I dont see any much differ from 64MB xboxses yet... blink.gif

not sure but i assume u are using a 128mb enabled bios. No clue will test it out as soon as i fix my xbox up.

Would it be possible to add an options to scan for roms in a sub-folders for the next release. The reason I ask is that the XBOX will only allow so many files in one folder. So I use the option in GoodN64 to split into folders. Currently when I want to load a rom from a different folder I have to edit the ini. So an option to scan all subfolders would be great. Also, does Sureal XXX Support other compression methods other then zip. If not is this planing to be added. I'm just look to save as much HD space as possible.

The latest release with the rice 5.60 plugin fix is nice! Conkers looks soooo great! And also, this is strange, my debug issue is now gone? I tried 1964 with 5.60 on OoT and Majora's, and the debug info was shut off!! finally!! Still, both games only show two hearts like all surreal ports. Curious as to why this happens though? Still can't play my turok games, and south park. Keep up the great work, this is

I also have the 128mb ram, so whatever methods to crank the shit out of surrealxxx, please let me know!

Has anyone else noticed that if you accidentally click on the right stick (to bring up the Surreal menu), it will lock up?

I've been playing Star Fox 64 alot lately on there, and sometimes when using the right stick (for boosting or braking with the C-buttons), the menu pops up, and then the game freezes.

Until this new version, I've never seen the menu freeze.

It also freezes in other games when the right stick is clicked.

well, for me it's the other way around. I froze every now and then when I entered the menu, or the menu didn't show up at all. It has not happened to me on Surreal XXX beta3b, yet

I agree with Horscht, beta2 would crash going into the menu, but the beta 3 builds rarely crashes.  However, I have been having some issues with Conker.  I was able to save states without crashing, but I can't get past the part where it says "Game 1" and then you hit play, and the screen goes black but nothing ever comes up (freezes).  Other than that conker looks great.  What would be the best settings for this game on a 64 Mb Xbox, does anyone know?

BTW: i never experienced a "crash when enter menu" bug with beta 2 either (I rearely used it because it didn't save my romlist), but all other releases (FDB4 Surreal 1.0, Surreal 1.1) crashed every now and then.

I'm having some big trouble.  I try to load mario 64... don't work.  I've tried all three emus, and many many different memory settings.  This same problem happened on the Surreal 64 X that was released with the ** Links to Xbox Warez and Torrents ** auto installer emu disc.  any idea why the hell that rom won't work.  Note: it was working fine for the first few days, then after a while, it just wouldn't load at all!  Locking my xbox up and such.  I've tried multiple installs and such, and it just won't work.

Try to remove EVERYTHING related to Surreal including the saved games and Surreal's save file and then do a clean install of Surreal XXX B3b to see if that fixes the problem.

I'm having a problem with this as well. I'm usually pretty good about getting things to work, but this is giving me some trouble. I'm about 70% sure its because I have save files for an older version Surreal somewhere on the harddrive (or other Cache/Temp/Save files).

When I try to load any rom, on any of the 3 emu's within surreal (the latest beta, same problem with the previous release), it loads then goes to a black screen. Tried messing with some settings, nothing works. In game reset is disabled on the dashboard, and I've tried using two different Bios (the recent 5028, and the last stable release).

Any ideas? Could someone tell me some other places that Surreal files are located? I'm considering formatting my xbox harddrive sometime soon, because things are really messy. I've noticed that a lot of xport emulators appear in my gamesave manager under "Xboy Advance" (GBA emu).
