I wanted to make this post for people who need help solving issues or bugs that they may have with surreal beta 3

As said in the nfo :
- rom info in launcher can be a little confusing (especially rom counter)
- project64 doesn t work with rice5.31

The rest is up to you (and I am pretty sure there are still a lot of bugs tongue.gif ).

Do u still have to mess around with the Media and Roms folder. If u do please someone explain it better so i can get this to work. Thx in advance for any help.

I don t know, but it will not be freezing anymore if it is the problem (at least for roms), I don t have anyprobs with d:\

My problem is it keeps on going back to my dashboard(Evolution X). And i dont know what u people are talking about when u say set  the paths of the Media and Roms  folder correctly. I have no clue. I just want a quick explanation.Thx in advance for any help.

Attention to all, if you have the version with 7.37Mb, plz redownload it, it must be 7.67Mb, I am just reuploading it, this version was miscompiled and was always running with rice 5.10.

As for the media folder, normally you must just have it into your emu folder, if you want to change it, open surreal.ini with a text editor and set the media path.

Sweet man! no more waitong to get to the romlist! Thankx. But for some reason Loading states in OoT still freezes (music runs, but picture freezes)

In the surreal ini at the top there is

QUOTE
[Settings]
Rom Path=D:\Roms\
Media Path=D:\Media\


Make sure that 1) you a a folder named "Roms", and that 2) the ini is pointing to it. To be honest - there should be no reason to change it that I can think of. Unless you have your roms stored somewhere else entirely.

D:= the home directory of the Surrealxxx folder.
