you have much to learn young padawon.

a)  use the search button (this probably wont be the last time you read this)

b ) chankast is being ported... not finished, dont know if it ever will be

c) no. porting without souce code is difficult... but the emulator might have some special features...

why dont you just get a dreamcast?

I have the same problem with the search function on xbox-scene. Words that are too short with only a certain amount of alphabetical characters will not lead to a search. It is strange. For example, search GTA would give me no search results, yet GTA Vice City would. I'm on a Mac G4 733 Quicksilver with Safari as my browser. I 've tried the Mac version of IE as well and the search function at xbox-scene is still funked. Who knows, site admins know maybe.

I don't think any dreamcast emu would be released even till a year after xbox 2 comes out. With an emu, I mean an emu that runs commercial games. BTW, dreamcast is a console of the same generation to which Xbox belongs, isn't it? And how would you run DC GDs?

I am sick of people who tell us that, instead of searching for an emu, get  the console. I need to tell such people that, usually, people ask for emus only because they are tempted by the prospect of playing quality games for free. It doesnt matter if the console is a DC, GC, PS2, 2600, NES or even the Xbox. Its important to note that they wont even toy with the idea of buying such games/consoles in real life...

Aerith,

If you haven't figured out by now, there will never be a Dreamcast emulator for the XBox.  The XBox lacks the processing power to emulate the Dreamcast at playable speeds.  I believe there is a pinned topic about this, and I see threads for it all the time.  It's hard to imagine a search came up completely empty.

The team that is working on the DC emulator did say they had it running on a p3 700mhz PC at full speed.

sad.gif  Makes Space Channel 5 unplayable because the sound gets off sync instantly.

Good thing I have my Dreamcast right next to me, but i'd love to be able to boot up a dreamcast game on my comp/xbox whenever I want.

That argument can be used for every system that is emulated.  You are forgetting one of the major reasons for emulating systems, and that is the convenience of having multiple systems on one console.
