I think the easiest way is to put the Good Tool into the same folder with your ROMS.  Then open up the command prompt and run the Good Tool but put "rename forcexbox" at the end.  For example, if you were going to rename your SNES ROMS you would type this:  "\path\GoodSNES.exe rename forcexbox"

It will then rename and put all the ROMS it recognized into a sub folder and produce text documents telling you every ROM you have and every ROM you are missing.

Is it possible to run the Goodtool from outside the source directory? Reason I ask is because I have all my ROMs on about 10 DVDs, so I can't put the file in the source. What I was hoping to do is rename and copy all my ROMs directly from the discs to my Xbox hard drive.

According to Vamp's guide it looks like using GoodGUI may allow you to rename your ROMS from off your DVDs, but I'm not sure if you can do it while copying them to the XBox at the same time.  You may have to copy them to your PC first either way.
