After many attempts to get my solderless adapter to work with no success, I finally reluctantly solder the pins in. Although I'm not the best solderer by far, being my first time and all, my friend and I agree that it was a very good attempt. I put everything back together and using my own 30 gage wire I soldered it to the D0 point on the chip and used the D0 hook wire from the solderless adapter to connect to the D0 point on the top of the mother board (not soldered btw). I put the chip on and presto, nothing! I have a boot up 3 times and then frag(flashing red and green). So i try everything for the next 30 minutes to try and get it working and nothing still. So, I take off the chip and try to boot up to the original MS bios and it still frags. Now I'm thinking I've screwed up my motherboard royal! So, before I mess up anything further beyond repair, can anyone help me? Thanks!
