Wow you dont know how many times I have tried to get this cd/dvd to work with no avail.  I read your post this morning and tried it and bam it works perfectly.  I guess making an iso was somehow screwing things up.

Really nice post, thanks a million.  I swear though I spent hours reading how to do this and dont remember reading any post like it, please say it wasnt in the faqs on this site or Lantus'  ohmy.gif

I have never went to the site you mentioned--would have probably saved me a lot of grief!

I rest my case. happy.gif

1.Download craxtion from www.craxtion.com

2.Install it

3.Run the program and create an ISO, putting in one, or several emulators. If it's one emulator just put it in the root directory(not inside of a folder), this way it will run when you put in the cd-rw or dvd, if it's many emulators you could use craxtions multi game wizard, but instead of games you'd be adding emulator folders.

4.Burn in nero, burn it normally, don't force anything. Just open the ISO, choose 'close disk' and click on burn.

5.This should work perfectly fine, and remember- a lot of xbox dvd drives can only read cd-rw and dvd's, so if you are using normal cd-r's they may not work and you might have to try a different type of media.

Also make sure that in any of the .ini's for the emulators you want to burn that the media path, skins path and roms path's all point to the dvd and not someplace on your HD.

Hopefully this helps.

Kudos on actually searching, not many people do it.

EDIT----
I'm assuming you know a little about this kind of stuff, if you need clarification on anything, post here again.

im familar with dashboards and such.i remember using craxtion way way back like a yr ago and couldnt get it to work. apparently there was an error or something. subdirectories and stuff. i forget.  i already have a pjx disc and that was an early version so u can imagine my frustation when trying to load up goldeneye. i will try it again and if that doesnt work i will give xiso a whirl.will let u know how it goes today.thx

That won't make a difference.

Go to craxtions website, download the following from www.craxtion.com/download.html

(all are on the download page)

1.Craxtion newest version (duh haha)
2.The .NET framework
3.The OCX Files
4.The RUNTIME Files

Run all of them and craxtion will (should) work. Craxtion is a much much better program than xiso.

I created an ISO of Xsnes9X with 752 roms with qwix and it burned it with nero flawlessly...just followed the tutorial at teamxecuter.com on how to make an xbox disc.

Just make an ISO using Qwix.   It creates ISOs that are better than UDF and usually better than Craxtion as well.

I made the SNES Folder (Which includes, Skins, Roms, the INI file, the default.xbe file, and the nfo file) as an ISO, using Qwix actually, never used anything else, and I burned the Image on Nero, but for some reason my Xbox won't load it. =\ It shows on the dashboard as a game, but when I hit load DVD it starts loading then just....doesn't.

What do you mean what type of media? Right now I'm just trying to make a boot disc of XSnes9x. Then once I figure out what I'm doing wrong I'll start on my other Emulators.
