Status Update :
I've fiddled around with the gamepad sensitivity values and i 'think' i've found a decent setting.First i played with my real N64 to get a good feeling of the original controller. After that i started to change surreal's values until i had the same feeling of the XBOX controller. The games i played with Surreal and N64 were Zelda (slingshot),Banjo-Tooie (egg crosshair) and GoldenEye.I'm now going to add the possibility to let you change the settings by yourself via the config file. After that i'm gonna implement a screen resize function (hope this works).

smile.gif .
I was planning to do something like that, I would like to change the menu and make a menu like fbaxxx (screen with the game on the right and add video options ....), I am currently only beginning, but if you want, when I get this over, I could contact you smile.gif .
One question, why not just add filter flicker in surreal.ini?

Skinning ability would be nice, but i would have to say surreal has the best UI ever created for any xbox homebrew. I would wager that the majority would agree with me, and changing the interface (permanantly) would only cause people to complain.

I would of liked to see an ability to move around buttons and such because it would make the skins that I'm trying to build a lot more smoother, and easier... I know sometimes people choose style over compatability, but I like to make skins that appease both... Also I would of like an ability to have animated gifs to be displayed, but thats not going happen.

And I'm not complaining just FYI (I love the improvements) if anyone brings out a Surreal can you please patch the XBE files to retail versions, so there isnt a million threads from people asking how to fix it. Thanks

freakdave - Not one but two birthday 128 upgrade offers for you now laugh.gif Where's the third cos they say these things come in threes cool.gif

Great news about the sensitivity controls - your work is greatly appreciated. Seeing as you will soon be the proud owner of a 128 board (have you decided which of us you would like to take up on the offer?) how about turning on that 128 core now? wink.gif

I myself have a 128 board, and really I think this feature can wait.  By the time that Freakdave gets the board(s?), oDD and lantus will have released the CVS (like they said they would) with support.  The only real improvements will be for Perfect Dark IMO.  So, lets appreciate the great stuff Freakdave has done for this emulator.
Seeing your work with surreal, I think I'd like to try out DrillerX smile.gif

this is the retail version.  All you would have to do is replace all the files except for the cfg file.  (which has your rom directory info)

Because i didn't have so much time then  wink.gif .All settings are now loaded through Surreal's ini file. The *.cfg was just a temporary solution.Well,to give if you an idea of what's to come next, this is how my ini file looks now :
.
.
.
Default Flicker Filter=0
Default Soft Display Filter=0
Default XOffset=13.2
Default YOffset=5.1
Default XStretch=0.0
Default YStretch=0.0

this is why 128MB support has low priority for me.

Dexbe says they are patched as debug versions... So I'm not saying your not telling the truth or anything but I'm gonna believe dexbe above all else.  I'll patch them myself, so I know its copasetic with me.
