This release is whack, I barely can ever get a game running, it's always the black screen of death, reboot, same thing, over and over, and over again. I'm deleting this mother and going back to the last release, which just happens: to work.

Did you replace your Surreal.ini with the new one ? Might solve your problem...

Do the rest of the users have the same problem ?

Delete Surreal.ini and Surreal10.ini from E/TDATA/a64fea57/
and restart Surreal. If this doesn't solve your problem, then i don't know what might cause the crashes...

1.make sure you have the right rom version (v1.0 US afaik)
2.the flicker filter has nothing to do with the game compatibility/performance
3.the flicker filter takes values from 0 to 5
(0 = off(very sharp).......5(highest flicker filter stage (very blurry)
4.search the forum for the compatibility thread

Or does the same thing happen to all games?

no only zelda. i've tried mario64 and goldeneye and they run fine (goldeneye a little bit laggy). pokemon stadium gets past the intro then crashes at the main menu. haven't tried any others yet.

Hello,

Just wondering if this new modified Surreal has lost anything that the 1.0 possessed?  Compatibility, etc?  To sum it up, is it without a doubt the best Surreal available for download?
