got it figured out. ends up that the roms were in caps and were rar instead of zipped. got a different set of roms and all is good now. whats the limit of how much roms in a folder though?? or did u do it like that to find stuff easier.

No you're right, i used multiple dirs to overcome the file limit on the xbox,
i dont remember how much the limit was but this works just fine.


and as far as your problem goes, yeah mame never supported rars,
so i'm willing to bet they are being seeded by the same person who's seeding
that snes romset without file extensions
