Fishing Controller For Tempest?

Hey I was checking out the Fishing Controller for the XBOX and was thinking that once modified it might be a good tempest controller. Specifically the arm to reel the line in. Assuming of course it is a endless, two directional spinner. I was looking at it in the box so I couldnt test that. Does anyone out there have the controller and could comment on its usability as a spinner?
