Yep no PM's, looks like the xbox1 scene finally kicked the bucket,
I should really get off my ass and update everything on my xbox one last time
and then just enjoy it for the amazing media center/emulation machine that it truly is.

But not to worry people, I'll be buying myself an Xbox360 sometime in December,
because i think by then I'll be able to get one that doesn't red ring,
VampX aint going nowhere.

Also, here's hoping that someday OpenMugen... excuse me, Shugendo will be completed and get a working Xbox1 port.

I don't think it matters how long you wait, you either get it or you don't. I have only had to deal with it once, thank god. It happened to be after the warranty expired, too. I'm glad it was extended and I got a refund. I've been lucky with my latest one so far.

The rest you wrote is exactly the crap i want to avoid when i get a 360,
I don't want to find out after 5 years (i don't play much) that my 360 decided to croak.

I'm just saying that while the failure rate may be lower on a newer console with the new heatsinks and nano chips, it is still possible to get a RRoD. I know people who waited until there was a price drop for two reasons: 1) Cheaper (duh) and 2) Because the "kinks" should be worked out by then. One such friend ended up having to make multiple trips back to Game Stop to get it replaced (he bought the in store warranty while they still had it). He's on his 3rd console, and so far so good.

Don't get me wrong, the newer equipment will probably lessen your chances of RRoD, but anything is possible. Hell, some people still have there 360s from launch day. My launch day 360 lasted 15 months before anything happened to it (may have had something to do with me getting Live a year later and playing it more often, but who knows). The refurb that got sent back to me has been stable, and I play GH2/3 on it all the time. I'm glad I haven't had any nightmares like a few of my friends.

Well I figure this place is as good a place as any to ask my question since
A. I can't get flamed for bringing this thread back to life considering this is a spam thread.
and.
b. I can't get flamed for asking a stupid question since this is a spam thread.

That said what the hell does IMO stand for? people use this all the time, and for the life of me I can't figure it out; and I've always resisted the urge to google it since I would just feel like a dumb ass if i did that.

And since this is an emulators forum thread, is it possible to use the regular xbox controller for games that require the nintendo zapper such as duck hunt in the Mednafenx-nes emulator. I can get the cross hairs to come up but I can't actually shoot or select anything in this mode.

Yeah.... IMO had me wondering for a while too. Can't remember how I finally found or figured it out, but it means In My Opinion.... IMHO is In My Honest Opinion. IMHO it's a dick move by lazy people. I think too many people don't know how to read or write english in this country already. But whatever....

They're all before my time. I've done a ton with my own Box since I've been here but I've only seen a few updates at all since I've been here. Very appreciative for the work put into it though. I hated playing any of these games on my PC compared to the XBox experience.

Does anyone know of a webshop or something where i could buy a blue XCM case for my xbox1?
I've been searching for a long time now and almost thought i had one but the webshop screwed me over. (www.gamefreax.de)
so i still don't have one, i already have the xcm lcd front so i'd rrrrrreally like to have a matching case.
