Point Blank works, but no sound (not supported in official mame), but Zero Point 1 and 2 are very similar to it and are working perfectly.

I'm sorry Time Crisis don't work (not enough CPU power)

It was not "they", it's been me who did it, changed the latest code available in Sourceforge, 84.1b, because the newer versions didn't yet appear there.

If you doubt the compiled version, the files changed from the original source are also included and you can compile it yourself.

Just did it because had some spare time, and after XPort improvement in the lightgun code, I saw that with a little bit more work it could be perfected and stop my lightgun from gathering dust.

Have you fixed the thing where certain lightguns prevent you from calibrating them?

What I mean is my lightgun doesn't have a black or white button, so MAMEoX thinks I'm pressing it the whole time, which makes navigating menus impossible, which obviously, in turn, makes calibrating the gun impossible.

Awesome, I have no way of getting this right now but I am looking forward to it. I have the madcatz gun and am having the same problem as others have with the lack of being able to calibrate it correctly. It is great to hear thhat the crazy aiming with black backgrounds has been fixed. Calibbration in xports fce works fine, i just wish the calibration would work in the same way.

The problem I listed earlier with the white and/or black button problem is still there which makes it impossible to calibrate my lightgun. Would it be hard to implement a feature where MAMEoX detects if a lightgun is plugged in (it already does this bit) and disable any checks accociated with black and white for the particular port that the gun(s) is/are plugged into?

This would be greatly appreciated since I can already use the gun for NES and SNES, but MAME would be awesome.

Can you elaborate what are the problems with the joytech?

I've got a sharp shooter havent tried this release yet but on Xports the calibration is fine, however in game the target jitters all over the screen and you can shoot but it only ever hits the centre of the screen,

it's kind of like it keeps getting dragged back into the centre if that makes any sense, like if you use the analogue stick it autocentres the target.

I hope you can fix this I hate the sharpshooter !

It works great on xports FCE Ultra but not on Mame  sad.gif
