Hello,
I need some help I am trying to find an old arcade game that I loved playing in the arcade but I cannot remember the name. Well anyways here is the description.

It was a basic 2-d fighter, around the time of SF2, and it had a character in it that Wore a purple outfit, had fork like things for hands and also had a special move that involved fire.  Im sorry I cant remember more, but I would be very appreciative if anyone would like to take a stab at this.

if its the one with a dinosaur init aswell it would be...................

hey i can't remember. it used to be at the countryclubs arcade thats near me.
it was made by nintendo i think aswell.


i'l try and remember the name if the game your thinking of is the game i'm thinking of.

no it wasn't killer instinct.

it was made in 1992 (before killer instinct) so it couldn't have been.

Actually there was a forum where I used to post that had a dedicated 'What's this old game?' thread. I always used to get them right however vague the description. Maybe we should have something similar here so I can further show off my encyclopedic gaming knowledge.

Okay how about this one then,

Its a Mountain Climbing game in the snow and you can choose from alot of stuff to take with you,
The game is viewed from the side until you reach parts where you will have to climb,
then its more of a moving around left/right/up while trying to avoid falling rocks and trying to grab parts that wont let loose.

I played the game on the Atari ST but i dont remember the name.

My guess would be Final Assault. I didn't have an ST myself but I think I remember playing this on a Spectrum.

The two version for Martial Champion that I have do not seem to work on MameoX. Have any of you guys been able to run it on your xbox? Just curious maybe I have a couple of bad roms.

It's clearly not Final Fight. Final Fight did not have a 3/4 overhead view, no lava whatsoever, and the city was Metro City not Metropolis.

Foddon, the game sounds familiar what type of game was it? fighting, shooting etc.
