Mario Kart 64 works flawlessly for me, actually Mario Kart 64 is one of the best working ROMS for surreal xxx that's preety much perfectly emulated with Ultra 64 selected. biggrin.gif Also for Zelda: Majora's Mask at some parts during the game you get MAJOR SLOWDOWN, i mean to the  point where it's barely playable.

I just can't wait till we get a working Resident Evil 2 rom. sleep.gif

Nej.. it don't work very well. Slow & ugly. Just play the PSX version; it's great & works almost flawlessly with PCSXBOX.

Am I the only one who has a lot of problems with GoldenEye (GoldenEye 007 (U) [!].z64) on Surreal 64 XXX ? The game is reeeeally slow on PJ64 and it simply crashes on 1964.

I have tried everyone's advice on getting Conker's Bad Fur Day to run on my Xbox.  However, I cannot get it to work.  I am using Surreal 64 XXX b4.95 and a softmodded 1.6 Xbox with 64MB of RAM.

When I try to load the ROM it will say "for mature audiences only" and it'll display the Dolby logo and stuff, but after the Nintendo logo it freezes and just gives a black screen.

Any suggestions?

Iirc 'everyones advice' points to using surreal xxx beta 4.9 not 4.95

Nevermind. I got Conker to work.  (I was using the (E) version before.)

Do some games work in 4.9 but not 4.95?

Hi all, n00b to X.-S. forums but a long-time lurker here!. I noticed this whole thread is pretty out of date (last post Oct. 31 2006?!? Compatibility list updated in April _2005_?!?!), is anyone out there who is still interested in working with Surreal/N64 emulation on xbox1?. I for one have been into n64 (+ other, but have always loved the n65 gfx style) emulation for a long long time but have lurked for years. I would like to carry on this revolution of being able to play N64 games on xbox1, but always getting better. It can only get better, and the more games tested the more complete the compat. list will be! Is there another thread that people still post to, or am I missing something? I know with the 360 out people are less interested, hell next week I'm getting enough £££ I could buy 20 x360's! (no, I didn't rob a bank, I'm turning 21 lol), but I'm still dedicated to my xbox1... and want to get into emulation again. When I first got an xbox and modded it years back, I was really into it but someone burgled my stuff. It was only a few months back that I managed to get a new one, and get all my save-games back on track smile.gif, but a lot of my software / disc of ROM's was stolen..(i'm not asking for any, I've got a giganews account lol). I have got it all back now, (lol, I didn't bother with the psx thrill kill game, even 'in the day' it was a piece of novelty sh1t!) so I really want to help here and get together with ppl interested in this.. The bottom line is anyone still interested in testing the stuff, working on this thread and carrying it on?? Because I am. Hopefully there isn't just me!.

Cheers,
Ben.

Okay so I finally figured it all out... I got my copy of surreal and all the cool nifty toys to actually work on my modified "super box". My first issue started with Znexbox; the program at first didnt see any of my roms. After a week of trial and error, I solved the problem by renaming the file extensions to .smc.

Now Im working on the N64 end of my super box... Same issue. I downloaded Surreal, configured the rom path to the proper location (with all .ini files) and much to my dissapointment, surreak cant locate not one of my roms. So I went back and modified some file extensions...

I tried .v64, .rom, z64... no change. Surreal still cant seem to identify the roms. What am I missing here? Any help would be much appriciated! Thanks!
