Ok I'm having a little trouble here with psxbox.  I have a retail hd for the time being so i dont have alot of room for iso's and such.  So i went to the xport homepage and read the faq and it said i could burn the img /bin files to a disk and play them like this.
I burnt crono cross and final fantasy to a tdk dvd-r.  I load up the emu go to select game and then i find them under  S:\(iso9660 dvd-rom  but when i try to load a game up it goes to loading and right back to select game.  Now i have read that u need the cue sheet to play bin files (maybe why i cant play final fantasy 8?)  but my chrono trigger is a img file.  I can play this game on the hd without the .sub and the .ccd files so what am i doing wrong.  If someone could Help me out here that would be great, thanks alot.

rip the games using cdrwin

this will make them a .bin file

you only need the .cue if it had more than 1 audio track

it will tell you if you need the .cue, there will be a red circle in the box

I believe i grasp somewhat of what you are saying. Well here's a simple way to do it. I hope i'm not too late.

1. D/l SimpleXISO

2. Put your bin/cue files in a folder of their own. You can put as many as can fit on a dvd, but they all have to be in the same folder.

3. Use SimpleXISO to make an x-box compatible iso from the folder. (it's easy, you'll get it).

4. Use Nero and here's the key part, use the "burn image" option to burn the iso image to your dvd.

5. When opening the dvd on pcsxbox, go to the R:\ drive, since the s:\ drive would be empty anyway.

6. Voila!!! You have all your bin/cue files ready to be played off the disc.

  Thanks alot man im sure thats what i did wrong since it was reading from a diff format.  (iso6999) or whatever.   Ill let ya know if it works.
