smile.gif. at first i thought my eyes were playign tricks on me until i read that software filters arent' working. not a big deal, i think the most important is to try and get the emu running faster, over features, there's a few stages where it runs at steady 60 fps, right off the top of my head, "Spinal Ship" ((Dwn+MK) only on the first player that picks the caracter, or u'll end up on the sky stage) and "The Street" (Dwn+FP). those are the first 2 that popped in my head, the fact that other level run slower (i think orchids is the one that ran the slowest) is it due to CPU restriction or RAM restriction?

Either way keep up the great work on the emu., looking forward for future build...Thx

yea true gogo when u do the move list ,r u gonna be able to see them in the in game menu like ur controller options?

believe me ive spent hours optimizing the code to try and squeeze more performance out of KI2. Short of messing around with cpu cycles which is generally not a good idea,  KI2 simply needs a faster CPU to run at 60fps.

thx for the reply Lantus, but would that make sense considering some levels run at a constant 60 and other not, it's not as if we're talking about diff. games, it's the same game just diff. levels isn't it basically emulating the same thing just diff layout and textures (i'm a total noob to this so plz feel free to correct me if i'm wrong)?? even so, not just a bit under 60 we're talking over 20 frames under 60, don't take this the wrong way, I'm not doubting your exprience and knowledge by all means, i'm just curious, I think just the fact that it's been ported and that it runs as good as it does, is indeed in itself a great feat.

I've tried U64-XXX and it's great stuff so far.

Other than the items already mentioned - software filters not working yet and mixed up button configuration - the video clips in KI seem to be on fast forward, although they're okay in the normal U64-X. Is that due to something I've missed?

a test i did a while ago was to increase the dynarec size on my 128Meg debug xbox to see if that was the cause - no change at all

PS : moves menu done, now I need to create moves.txt (tested with SF2 from fbaxxx tongue.gif) , correct controller initialisation  blink.gif , and see for the menu not displaying more option biggrin.gif .After that, maybe include an auto frameskip for KI2 in the beginning and do software filers biggrin.gif .

The only option I have is to rotate the screen to tate mode. Is there truly a way to make the vertical games look like they do in MAME? I've tried all three of the options, nothing works.
