Right, I have pcsxbox version 11, and apparently Final Fantasy IX only works on PCSXBox verison 2 and 3, and for some reason, version 2 doenst work. All the files are there (although my version was not packaged with a pcsx.ini , I don't know if version 2 needs it, if so if the pcsx.ini is not illegal, can you please give me a link/send it to me??). Apart form the pcsx.ini, are there any other possible reasons it won't load? No matter what dashboard I load it from it just goes back to my default dashboards screen. I have tried the X2 4981 and EvoX M7 bioses. Any suggestions??

If anyone could help that would be really handy!! Please!! For some reason V2 is not loading, I put it in a seperate folder to V11. Failing that, if anyone could tell me how to get Final Fantasy IX to run on V11, that would be even better!!

I'm just guessing but could it be due to the gamesaves for the two versions intefering? If that is the case then there is no way around it.

), but i couldn't help but notice you couldn't get your v2 to load and you said you have no .ini file, did this version come from xbins? maybe try the version thats up there and see if that works.

well i tried deleting the "saves" folder and it stil wont load. i dont know if it saves to a directory in tdata or udata, if so can i have some info? no i didnt get it form xbinx because thats xbe only lol.

Hi. I Had This Problem when i tried running FFIX PAL on PCSX V11 but i found the problem is not the program but the bios you are using so you have to delete the bios scph1001.bin in your PCSX bios folder then put the scph7502.bin bios in the bios folder and rename the bios to scph1001.bin so PCSX can recongize it and now the game should work perfectly.

No it didn't work for me.
I ripped my rom with Blindwrite, cdrwin 4.0 didn't work for me.
But that couldn't be the problem right?

It might be your problem Bullet...Id try using cdrwin if I were you. (not sure what you mean by 'it didnt work')

Well when I installed cdrwin 4.0 it needed some program I forgot the name of it.
I used the toturial of xbox-scene.com, I can't find the link no more.
But the program couldn't be installed or something or I couldn't get it sorry I forgot.
But I do have cdrwin 5.0, won't that work?

And I needed the Adaptec ASPI layer, but the DL link didn't work.

Ok finally got cdrwin to work, I found the program( btw can that ASPI program harm my pc? ).
So I used the toturial and send the ff ix.bin to my xbox.
I didn't work with any of the version (2/3/11).
And I renamed scph7502.bin to scph1001.bin and that also didn't work.
So if anyone has any ideas?
I'm running PAL FFIX.
