Wow, this is really interesting!

What sort of PC does one require to run this at decent speed.

I have no games to hand but have run an audio cd and checked out the menus....etc with the spaceship, it works pretty good on my P3 1Ghz and Geforce4 MX440 video card.....

I'd imagine it needs alot more power to run games well.

Don't forget DraculaX, for me, the best game available for this console, and it is RUNNING at full speed! (actually faster than it is in the original console)

Can't wait to play this game in my xbox+hdtv projector.

Today it is a great day!

I just tried running this with wine on my fairly low end(800mhz) Gentoo pc, but no luck so far..I'm getting the newer version of wine at the moment so I'll post if I have any luck. I also tried running it with cedega(formerly winex) and the menu works but loading a game fails. Has anyone with Linux installed on their xbox tried running this with wine? I thought it might be fun to get an idea of how well it may run should it recieve an Xbox port.

I have a couple games that I'm trying to run and I get this error message each time. What does it mean if you know?

I can't burn the image. Its strange. It says its over 4 gigs. But that doesnt make sense its only 500 megs.

So why is it exactly that a Sega Saturn emulator needs such a powerful machine?

There are Nintendo 64 emulators on Xbox, and surely that's more powerful than the Saturn was, right?

Can someone explain?

It is to do with the hardware, not so much how powerful it is, but more so how hard it is to emulate all the necessary parts of the console you are trying to emulate. Yes there is a N64 emulator but it is threee different emulators in one package and whilst it is amazing even high end PC's can't run all n64 games (I have a p4 2.6 hyperthreading 128Mb Radeon 9200 that still stutters on Perfect Dark on occasions)

A group is already using the assembly code to work on an XBox build and will contact us when they have anything viable.
