tactics ogre Bios works good until controller completely locks up in the game. HLE same as bios but when controller locks up you can still access the in-game menu

NBA Jam T.E. NTSC - Works great in BIOS mode while HLE mode gives errors on memory card but in both modes CDDA must be disabled or else you get static during game

i tested this as bin and img both giving me the same result. tried the disc in my ps2 and it works fine with no static so its the emu effecting that static prob

Doom NTSC - HLE mode locks up after willams intro while BIOS mode stops at the loading screen

Street Fighter Collection

Street Fighter Collection CD1 NTSC - The game crashes after the capcom intro in HLE mode but in BIOS mode the game plays well tho it plays a bit choppy  if you choose super sf2 turbo and for both games on the disc the music is loud and you can barely hear the sound fx

CD1 has the following:
Super Street Fighter 2
Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo

Street Fighter Collection CD2 NTSC - The game works great in both BIOS and HLE modes

CD2 is Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold

I've been trying to get Silhouette Mirage to work, i've gotten as far as running it perfectly (well almost perfectly) except that i cannot get the music to work. It loads up fine under both HLE and Bios but whenever i get to the title screen where the in-game music starts it just sounds like some distorsion.  It was however possible to disable it by    setting CDDA to off.  So now i'm wondering if it could have anything to do with the fact that it is in Clone CD format.. Meaning
XXX.CCD
XXX.SUB
XXX.IMG

Anyone in the know? It's a nice game with pretty nice music so it would be fine to able to play it fully (without hooking up the ol' playstation)

Super Robot Wars Alpha Gaiden:  Plays perfectly in BIOS mode, controller non-responsive in HLE Mode.  May need frame skipping on.

Thousand Arms:  Seems to lock up after the first Text box after the game starts in both BIOS and HLE mode.

Although the list has rhapsody as semi-working, I was unable to get mine to get past pcsx's loading screen.  It seemed to crash pcsx, as I couldn't  get back to exit the game.  Not sure if this is a problem with my image, or maybe just my luck.

NBA Jam Extreme NTSC - The game runs in both HLE/BIOS modes but runs so choppy during gameplay to even enjoy it

PO'ed NTSC - Runs great in both HLE/BIOS modes

Dead Or Alive NTSC - In HLE mode, it locks up after selecting a character but it plays great in BIOS mode but has static during character selection and during gameplay so cdda must be turned off

thats what i thought at first, i thought that those other two formats would fix the problem,

after i tried it i found out that it didn't work, not unless i did something wrong, so i still got that distorted sound

i later noticed that i have another game that had the distored sound but it was a .bin file, so i guess its just a compatibility issue

the v2 means that it was tested on version 2 of pcsxbox

alot of the games hear were tested in a earlier version
and on the earlier versions some games worked differently, some worked on version 2 that didn't on version 11 and vice versa

i don't know how similar the compatibility between the pal verion and the ntsc version of ffvii
but here are some ways to fix it

unmap throttle - turn the fast forward off

change framskip OFF and old frameskip ON

i think this was one too

turn lazy screen updates ON

if all else fails then i suggest getting the ntsc version, that ones works real good

also try reripping the game using cdrwin into .bin format

Grand Theft Auto 2 NTSC - In HLE mode, it stops at the piracy screen but the game loads fine in BIOS mode but the game doesn't play at 100% as without the old frameskip enabled it will start getting choppy in parts with a lot of action

now i know gta london normally is suppose to be swapped with the original gta1 disc but there was a release i grabbed for newsgroups a while back that merged the needed files into london cd so it won't need a swap!

i'll review that one tomorrow

there have been games with missing menus that i've had that i've been able to fix

try making differnet combinations between old frameskip, frameskip, and framelimit

sometime old frameskip and framelimit ON, frameskip OFF would work
others i think that i got working better was old frameskip, frameskip ON, framelimit OFF

so maybe try messing around with those three there and see if that helps at all

when do you swap discs in that game, are you able to save it when you change the disc, if you could do this then you probably could switch discs

nah, you do this at the begining before being able to play it.

i'll test it out in a lil while  wink.gif

Gradius Deluxe NTSC - Plays great in both HLE/BIOS modes

GTA London 1969 (No CD Swap) NTSC - Works well in both BIOS/HLE mode but theres static for music so CDDA must be disabled and in HLE i couldn't see the swap disc text but pressing x still loaded the game fine

MYST NTSC - Doesn't load at all with HLE mode; BIOS mode gets to the part of the book and then just stops when you click on the window on the book
