v20 Bin/Cue. I did have to fiddle a round a little and think this setup works good. No crashes after playing for a while and completing a mission. Anyway. Core 1.6 everything else standard except, Change graphics fixes to Use PC FPS calculation ON and turn Frameskip OFF ~Sotu

Sorry, but I forgot how they get written, so if you wouldn't mind adding/changing anything to make it look like the others do.

Thanks BB

I did actually put sotu's "working" report for X-COM on the list, but left the others above it as they were for previous versions of PCSXBox.

are you and others re testing all the games? id imagine such an old list there are a lot of reviews of games that were tested on older versions of pcsxbox. many games that were red are now green or at least blue id imagine.

Does anyone know if the "Download settings from Xport website" option still works? I can't get it to work, but I wasn't sure if I was just doing something wrong, or didn't set something up correctly, or what.

I'm not.  It's too much of a hassle to transfer 500MB to the box to test a game I'm never going to play.  Sotu and I did quite a few reviews, but I doubt you're going to find anybody else who would do that for hundreds of games like we did.

Though I think it was a great idea, this option has never once worked for me.  Sure, I could connect and see the configs there, but they didn't ever work for me.

How did you even connect? I can't even get to that point.... It just says "Could not connect to Xport website, sborting" or something like that...

I haven't even tried using that feature for a few years now.  Maybe the server isn't around anymore.  If that's the case, and we can confirm that it won't be back up again, we should probably just remove that feature from the emulators.

My game saves, when released, will suffice for most systems.  You'd have to make sure that your images/roms are named exactly like mine though for them to work.

that should be easy enough. Are the saves being released with everything else down the road, or before that?

I updated the list in this thread. As mentioned, there really wasn't that much to add.

It would appear the server is currently down. Dunno how long it's been that way.

The emulator can be configured to work with different websites - there's an option to change the IP in the settings menu. Even if X-Port let the site fallover, there's a good chance he'll have a backup of the configs somewhere.

I only ever used that feature once, but that one time got me VII running as perfectly as I believe it can get. I'd spent about a day working on settings and running over the forums for suggestions, and then I just pressed a few buttons and it was all go.  laugh.gif

The downloadable configurations are one big mess anyways and the Amiga directory is all fouled up.  I think it is full....

Are there other websites with configurations that would work?? Or are you just saying that in the future someone could start a site to hold them?

Shadow Madness - Plays through initial area, dialogue, FMV's and battles fine. Locks up when you hit the world map. Does not work in HLE Mode.
