when you play dodonpachi(j)bin/cue and you get to the end of level 1 some people have said that it just stays at a white screen with the music constantly looping.what you have to do is once the white screen appears start pressing the fire button constantly and the second level will start.this goes for the end of all the levels after you have defeated each boss.
oh yeah and this is using pcsxbox19 with normal bios settings in bios mode.

Mega Man Legends won't work for me, even though it says it's compatible.
It won't go past the Capcom screen. It'll start to fade out from it, but it will freeze with a faded Capcom logo on the screen, and just stay there.
Anyone else have this problem, and/or does anyone know how to fix it?

On the compatibility list,  says that Breath of Fire IV works Perfect with Standard BIOS Settings. (v18)  I have tried it as a (BIN/CUE) plus an ISO and and IMG and all it does is go black and nothing happens.   I have tried many different settings but no luck.  Has anyone else had any luck?

Also I can't get Guardian's Crusade to work either.  The game actually loads up til you see the cutscene before the new game/load game screen and it just goes black and the xbox freezes.   Did anyone ever get either of these games working?

Can anyone help me get any of these 2 games working?  I've been trying to get breath of fire IV working for at least 8 hours.   And the same thing keeps happening. It'll get past the now loading screen of the emulator then get a black screen and lock up my xbox.   I've tried v1.3, v1.8 and v1.9 , both in bios mode and in HLE Mode.  I want to play BOF IV really bad.  Just can't get it to work any help will be appreciated.

Korokoro Postnin (J) Runs great, but dialogues are partially sloppy.

Micro Machines V3 (E) Runs great, but not as smooth as on a real PSX. (lower Framerate)

Missland 2 (J) Runs fine, but no 3-4 player support.

Thermal blood (J) Not running, with any core.

There s something global to say about Multi-Tap games: Japanese games won't accept the Multi-Tap emulation (at least for 3-5 Players).
I think Japanese games (real PSX) require the Multi-Tap in the 2nd Controller port, while the western games use the 1st Port for the Multi-Tap. But I think that PCSXBox plugs its Multi-Tap into the 1st port.

Though I'm using the settings stated in the list I'm still having trouble getting Vagrant Story to load.

When I load the game I get a completely black screen.

Current settings:
Bios: BIOS File
Core V: 1.4
GPU Plugin: 1.12
SPU Plugin: 1.5
Graphics Fixes: all off
Wait CPU Action: On

I'm not sure what else i should mess with and it would take me forever to sift through 66 pages.

Thanks for your assistance.

Im new to this forum thing but here it is  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) :

I tried legend of dragoon with the config given in the list and still had a few glitches(graphic and audio). Then did some tweeking of my own and actually made some headway, but still have some annoying issues in the early part of the game(such as one Dart's additions makes the screen glitch temporarly, opening battle music delay, and no after battle music at all!!). The config that i have now is:

pcsxbox v.19
bios:bios file
core:1.4
gpu plug:1.12
spu plug:1.6
gaphic fixes: old frameskip on, frameskip off
cpu fixes:disable cdda on
spu fixes: sound timer method- original

the addition glitch happened before my tweeks and is still happening. is there any help or am i being a bit too much of a perfectionist? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/uhh.gif)

Bit of a noob question here.

In the list you name the image format, e.g. (IMG/CCD/SUB) along with the game.

Is this to say that this particular format was used in the testing or that this format is recommended for best results?

Thanks.

It's the format that was tested i think, not that one format is better then the other.

I know your prolly studying this list tryin to get perfect psx emulation, I did, tried diff image formats, etc. but honestly dude PCSXbox just isn't that great. I deleted it after seeing how some of my fav games performed.

There's too much tweaking that's involved for games, and even games that are listed in green meaning no problems, they still have hiccups.

It sucks but untill someone get's the espsxe source code somehow were confined to this smile.gif
