Relax works fine...Hmm.....

Can't understand how its seeing the disks but won't use them in SMB....argh :-)

Btw, thanks for the mega update Xport....

Now sorted it....Read another readme (the new one is missing the Network config help bit) and it said try all forms of SMB share entry...That was the problem..

Hey dude I've got the same problem. How did you enter the smb share name? I've tried loads of ways and it doesn't recognise the disks all ways I try it sad.gif

However the rest of WinUAE-X is looking mighty fine, you've addressed almost all the (sensible) issues that users have made, top quality work.

I hope you get time to look at the "Field rendering" I talk about in this thread

http://forums.xbox-s...howtopic=233732

Which will be the perfect solution to flickering (in almost all emulators on the X-box) WITHOUT the side effects of using any filters.

Tell you what is amazing, that floppy drive sound! Jesus Christ that's just the icing on the cake for this emu, superb!!

Those floppy drive sounds nearly freaked me out.  I was like.. What the!

At first I thought I'd be annoyed with them, but actually they are kinda neat.

I'll have to put an older version on first, but I think the screen size or screen shots may be odd.  When I had LED's on in v2 and took a snapshot it did not include the LED's, this version does.

Either that or I'm going crazy.  I'll verify this later when I get a chance.

The XBox Left Thumbstick will always control the mouse cursor regardless of
the port to which it is assigned.  (The same thing applies to a real mouse
if you have one connected.)

COULD YOU PLEASE make it possible to change the D-PAD with the Left Thumbstick (so you will control the mouse with the D-PAD)! Or could you make it possible to switch these if you want to?

Thanks

May somebody explain me what is NetPlay about (is it something like Kaillera, does it allow to play 2 joystick games or only those utilising amiga serial link/modem)?

Can anyone confirm that this version supports using 2 mice at the same time? Lemmings and Settlers in two player mode require it and are SUPERB games!

Xport: How do you have to enable ADZ support or is it enabled by default?

If it is, then it isnt working sad.gif

field rendering actually disables the flicker filter as a side effect.

v3 still skipping ocasionally. You can notice this if you load some pixel by pixel scroller (i.e. turrican 2 cracktro), and many others. It run smooth for a while, then skips one frame and still running smooth.
Also I think it would be nice to allow the emulator to run at 720x512 pixels instead 640x480, so we can double every pixel to keep a non filtered perfect full screen image.

Regards.

A stunning Port Xport !!!  One thing might help.....select a game...goto config....screw it up ....get confused.....

A return to default config button would be gr8!!!   But thats being REALLY picky smile.gif

However a tutorial on the HDD setups would be handy.....Im still getting confused with it.
Mind you every time i get somewhere a new version comes out so i start again smile.gif

Ye i know......Shut up Sync!!!!

Ok thanks.  I suspected that, but I guess I was thinking more along the lines of HLE and not pre-emptive processing.  HLE seemed like a little bit overkill for a 68000 processer, but pre-emptive makes more since.

I hope I used the correct terminology (or is it branch prediction?)  unsure.gif

I guess they are now calling the XBOX the Check-Box in the Amiga community, people are noticing your work, can't wait to try out OS 3.9 on this!

Definatly have to toss DOOM at it again, I'm sure it will at least start this time, but...

...I'm sure the speed will also lack. Will be fun anyhow. smile.gif
