Question On Emu's..
« on: June 21, 2004, 09:40:00 AM »

Is it at all possible to somehow edit the Evox config file so that I can load emulators from the C drive instead? because the Xbox wont let me write on the F drive (0 bytes available).

add this to your evox.ini file under the Launch Menu section

Section "Emulators"
      {
         AutoAddItem "e:\emulators\"
         AutoAddItem "c:\emulators\"
         SortAll
      }

I was just going to ask this question as my F drive is out of space as of Saturday.  Now I don't have to bother anyone.

Many thanks!!!

that doesnt seem to work, could you copy/paste your evox.ini file or the original one so that i know what its supposed to look like? The Emulators folder keeps coming up as empty in the Evox Launch Menu  :(

Also do i put NeoGens in a folder in the emulators folder or do i put the emulators files in the Emulators folder?

In simple terms do i have

C:\Emulators\NeoGens\default.xbe

or

C:\Emulators\default.xbe

Thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure you wnat this setup, if I'm understanding your question correctly:

C:\Emulators\NeoGens\default.xbe

That's how I do it on my F drive and it works well.  C should work the same.

this topic belongs in the evolutionx forum.
it does not specificly pertain to emulators.
