i've got an xbox running nicely from slayer's 2.5. i installed mameox but didn't add any roms. i ran it to make sure everything worked and it seemed to load to the section that asks for the rom you wish to play.

left it for a few days and then added a few roms to get it going. it gets to the part where i'm prompted to "insert coin" and after pressing A (or any button) it hangs. just freezes.

any ideas? i'm pretty sure the version is oretty recent.

seems the forums as helpful as i thought. gonna just take it off the xbox now since i can't really find any roms anyway....

Did you try checking if your clock is correct?  Go to your MS dashboard and fix it if it isn't.

no my clock is never set. never knew that made a difference.

i think it was stated before that you have to delete the save from the msdash then reinstall it
