I Probably missed a couple but these are mostly my favorites,

why does everyone rave about Earthbound so much? i missed it the first time round and fired up the rom a couple of weeks ago.

only about 30 minutes into the game (just me in the team, daytime, going to library to get map, learning about phone boxes etc...) but it doesn't seem to impressive - the engrish is funny though

the wild dog became tame

all castlevania games for all systems
there are also alot of hacks for this game for the nes
but youll have to find them  yourself

Earthbound is an experience, you cant understand that with only 30 minutes of gameplay.

the dialogue, the locations, the people.. its like no other rpg.

play some more and be amazed laugh.gif

That's all I can think of for now.

While we're here, I want to start playing anew (to me) RPG, probably on the SNES, and I was wondering which one you guys think I should play. At the moment I'm looking at Rudra No Hihou (Treasure of The Rudras), Star Ocean and Treasure Hunter G, but I'm open to other suggestions, except for Final Fantasy 6 and Chrono Trigger (already completed them or close enough).

ThanX'n'STufF, but I don't seem to be able to get into the Dragon Quest gmes, any of them, I've tried to play them before, but nothing has ever grabbed me, like Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy 6 and Final Fantasy 8 (I know FF8 isn't a SNES game, but they all share certain qualities).

Also, I have complete ROM sets and all the .ips files already so any games anyone recommends, I'll already have.

VAMPX - I've searched google before, but I wasn't sure if I had to download xbox specific rom games....I assume any would work?

Which IRC channels/groups?  I've been on xbins and I can get the emulators, but I was looking for the games...I haven't played Secret of Mana for SNES in years!

there are no specific xbox dumped snes/sega/etc roms, they are just roms copied from the original media, usuable with any emulator for any platform.


telling people where to get roms would get me banned dry.gif
