mk2 only runs great in mame ox 72

as for your sf2 problems, get romcenter and use the dat that came with kawa-x (for mame lookup the dat for the version you're using) and check your roms. most likely you're missing the parent rom to the sf2 you wanna play EG: sf2u.zip needs sf2.zip

The game runs fine on Mame ox 0.72, The only thing I can find wrong with this rom on this emulator, Is choppy sound issues. Other than that, the game moves just fine. Use this emulator on all the mortal kombat coin-ops except for part 1. Part 1 works smoother on Mame-X.

the latest mame ox plays them too slow due to memory issues so i'd stick with the older versions untill treasures 2 is out cool.gif

I'd much rather play the Arcade ROM than playing it from treasures. It makes me feel like I'm actually playing the arcade, cause I know the ROMS were dumped from those cabinites. That's just my opinion on that, cause of course, I'm one of the hugest MK Arcade fanatics here! God Bless MAMEoX. I actually use 71.2b, the sound is less choppy for me with that emu.

well only 3 games from treasures was shown at e3 (narc, total carnage, and mk1) and from what i read its damn good so far. i just hope mk 2/3 and primal rage play near perfect.

QUOTE (foahchon @ May 18 2004, 12:38 AM)
I believe the games in MAT2 may actually be emulators running the rom images of the various games, because from the screenshots and the trailer, the games look absolutely identical to their arcade counterparts in how they look, behave, etc. Every little nuance is consistent with the arcade.

The Ps1 port of MK2 was actually also pretty close to the arcade version so this doesnt really say much..
