On loading up the R-Type TAP file, it asks the tape to be stopped. Can I do this?
Don't think so. Similar problems with Outrun, too, at the moment. Remember it's only an alpha, and I'm sure the next version will be something special!

Any chance of seeing an "accurate tape loading" option in a future release.
Already been asked, and answered
Have a read of page 8 of this topic.....

Most blinkered attempt to crowbar any further info out of Carcharius?
Yes.
Dear Jim'll,
Please please please could you fix it for me to be told when we might all expect the next version of this Holy Grail of Xbox emulators?

Now I could just take the easy way out and give the good old 'when it's done' answer here.
But instead I'll be a bit more definite than that. It'll be out sometime in Q2 2004.
Can't say fairer than that now can you?

Yes it is indeed possible Taz. I was at Back In Time Live in Brighton last year and beared witness to a guy who had a CD player attached to his +2
I was most impressed! Id like to do this with my CPC and C64 too. The program you are looking for is Tap2wav, you should be able to find it on WOS.
