Pinned topics have to be very important, otherwise the existance of pinned threads would have no meaning.

Not that this isnt cool shit, its just far from pin worthy.

If it makes you feel better, I think it's pin worthy...

...well a Thread devoted to the use of and projects made (by forums members) with Lunar Magic and other related tools.

I was saying that for Asher's benafit. smile.gif

But ya, I think that once we have more stuff like this that will allow the commen user to contribute to the Scene without having to have coding (or much) know how, then there should definatly be a separate Thread or something to discuss the projects and what not.

So far we have Lunar Magic, the Beats Of Rage editing pack, and prolly that Metroid editing pack though I've never touched it so I wouldn't know.
Then there is of course Quake X, and the upcoming Quake 2 X and if we're lucky some sort of advanced DOOM port from Lantus.

One thing is for sure. If the community wishes to create and share there own creations, the possibility to do so is getting better and better. I only hope this catches on.

Personally, while none of my current projects are complete enough to have been released and receive feed back on, it is still an unexplanable joy to be able to develope your own game! You guys should check it out!

I've always been a DOOM Legacy fanatic, but Skyjake version of the DOOMsday Engine is looking VERY VERY tempting now a days, check out these pics:

The funny part about the above pics is that even a 10 year old could pull that stuff off, yet the finished project is SO VERY KOOL! smile.gif

Ya, I guess there is the game hacking Threads...

...then again this sort of stuff is a different beast all together considering that none of these games are on the commercial market for the XBOX. Either way...

How would you put one of these new mario games on since it is an ips file instead of ROM?

Do you mean, how do you insert an IPS file into a rom?

Just use Snestool or something like that. It's pretty easy.

I know of another tool that from the screen shots looks quite kool, though I've yet to dabble with it.

http://bck.sourceforge.net/

It's a Blaster Master Construction Set!!!! smile.gif

What I would truely love is a Bionic Commando Contruction Set for either the NES or Gameboy Color version of the game.

Y'know xSNES9x supports dynamic ips patching, so you could have all of your ips patches in one folder and just have the one mario ROM and still play all of these new levels.

I just thought I should say because it might make your ROM list look less cluttered and it saves you having to manually patch everything, and I know laziness is a virtue.
