When you figure out how to make your xbox clock 3ghz and upgrade to 256MB RAM, I'll start speaking to you about gamecube emulation on the xbox.

The pinned topics explain it quite well enough.

I sold my PS2 to buy a GC, Super Monkey Ball 1 rules, Not tried Viewtiful Joe yet but iit does look tasty.

Dolphin runs windwalker at 5-6fps a sec on my 3ghz P4 with a gig of ddr 400mhx so I suspect a 12GHZ P4 will be needed for full speed with the emulators in their present state.

gCubix is fake, Dolphin is real. Dont expect to ever see them runing on xbox.  Buy a gamecube and support the companies if you want their games so bad. Enough said

gCubix web site gave me the best laugh all day!!
You said for gCubix "You wouldn't know from the website but it seems genuine", what are you on man? How devoid of intelligence are you?

you do not have to match an emulated harware cycle for cycle. With enough info about the n64 gpu you could do anything.

maybe instead of the topic title being The Final Word On Xbox Emulation or whatever.. it should be changed to "NO PS2,GAMECUBE,DC OR SATURN EMUS ON XBOX" .. that would get their attention jester.gif

Well it was meant sarcastic....
When u look at the page, its OBVIOUS that its a fake...

They already have screenshots of GC games running on every console and handheld ever made - its one of those "photoshop this" pages - the URL of the website (artwork) and the page itself is just too obvious...

So when i said even Iriez can do it, i meant that he can easily photoshop a picture....

But that GBA playing Mario64 video is real ace:
http://benjamin.fran...x_gba-video.mpg
Tho i think know how that was made wink.gif

I'm gonna be an ass and correct ya...it's Mario Sunshine  haha jester.gif As if it matters. Yea....it's fake, I think I know how it was made too. Using one of those Wireless A/V Adaptors Lik-Sang sells (or used to sell) for the SP/Advance, pretending to press buttons, and slowing down the video on a PC.

what a stupid ass response.. You actually believe the Gamecube is using 3Ghz to do it's gaming calculations? Gamecube's games aren't that impressive. I'm sure the XBOX could emulate all the gamecube titles given that someone puts in the time to make an emulator that handles the Gamecube code smoothly...

no, but the xbox would have to in order to emulate the game cube's calculations...  do you have any idea how an emulator works?  it takes a power mac G5 dual 2Ghz model just to emulate a 900 Mhz PC running emulation software.

if God wrote the code, he couldn't optimise it enough to run smoothly on the xbox... it simply can't be done.
