Yeah, I'll second that.

FF7 was the only good thing Square has ever given the gaming community, well, FF7 and CT.

Try unmapping the throttle button.

I think FF7 was kind of a gateway RPG for a lot of people, which, for better or worse, hasn't been met again. I personally dug FF8 even more, and just never gave myself the time to play FF9 when it originally came out, even though I bought it.
I recently tried giving all 3 a go on the Xbox, but PCSXBox crashes at a number of FMV sequences in 9. Some you can save state before hand, and try again, wishing for luck, some will just always lock up your Xbox. Best not to bother with it, I'm sorry to say. FF8 has the same problem, only during some monster animations (namely one during the last fricking battle. Pissed me off.)

It's in the manual. You can't use real or burned PSX CDs, only disc images for PCSXbox.

I like Final Fantasy 8 the most out of the PS ones too.

Cool, I could never get very far in PCSXbox though, GRR!

It's been mentioned over and over, you could run a search for "unmap throttle" and find it.
It's pretty easy. You need to go into your emu config, and change the mapping of thr throttle button from R, and then don't press anything when it asks what you want it mapped to. That easy.
You won't be able to play very far though, as has been mentioned in this thread.

I think Final Fantasy 3 was the best... but then again, I haven't played 7, 8, or 9 yet.  Am I the only one who thinks Final Fantasy Tactics is complete garbage?

lol = )

Ignorant statement of the century.

FF9 went back to oldschool style did it not?

I would expect all the modern kids that dont have a clue about RPG's would not like something that tried to revert back to the old style. FF7 was alright.

RPG's these days seem to think that flashy animations and graphics is all thats needed to make a game. I'll play some stronghold, wizardry, or dragon warrior anyday over the trash they put out now and days.
