Hello,
Im a very new person and hopefully this hasnt been asked before, I looked at the pinned faqs but couldnt really find what i was looking for.  I recently had a good friend of mine help me with getting into the whole scene.  He modded my xbox ver 1.0 with the Avalaunch dashboard.  

Well anyways everything works great except for the emulators. We loaded the emulators on to the hard drive.  But when we tried to load games off of his DVD with roms on it, the emulators would just crash, when we selected a game and tried to play.  We then tried to use the file manager to try to copy over the rom zips to the rom directories on the hard drive  but we kept getting the message Error 3. Using Boxsploder I believe its called.   The emulators look like they work.  Both Boxsploder and the emulators can view the roms on dvd but the emulator cannot run the game, and boxsploder cannot transfer the file over.  Is there an easy fix for this?   I figured last resort I could transfer over roms using FTP, and then hopefully it would work, but I would really like it if I could use them off the disk instead of using the hard drive.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
